Since 1965, Berkeley City Club Members and other friends of the Berkeley City Club Conservancy have supported the preservation of the beautiful Berkeley City Club building and promoted the legacy of Julia Morgan by giving generously to the Berkeley City Club Conservancy.

The Berkeley City Club Conservancy, a separate non-profit corporation established in 1965, is dedicated to the historic preservation of the Berkeley City Club building and to promoting the legacy of Julia Morgan, the landmark’s extraordinary architect and builder.

In 1983, the Berkeley City Club granted a deed of scenic, open space, architectural façade and preservation easement “to ensure that no construction, alteration, remodeling, or other work on the property would affect either the exterior or interior structures and appearance of the property.”

The Berkeley City Club Conservancy is governed by a board of twelve directors elected annually. All fiscal records are kept on a calendar year basis with appropriate financial reports published in the News from the Castle, the Berkeley City Club Conservancy quarterly newsletter. The six annual board meetings and the monthly Julia Morgan Preservation Committee meetings are open to anyone interested in attending.

At this time, Berkeley City Club Conservancy invites contributions to these priorities: the endowment and the unrestricted fund that supports the most urgent historic preservation needs.

We encourage you to make generous tax deductible gifts to the Berkeley City Club Conservancy. Donation can be made by check, transfers of stock, planned gifts, pledges, as well as credit card donations on our secure website, berkeleycityclubconservancy.org/ Please indicate on your gift exactly how you wish your contribution to be directed: to the unrestricted fund, to the endowment or to a specific project.

Send your donation to B3C, 2315 Durant Avenue #306, Berkeley, CA 94704.
